“Hospital with a Heart” at SRMC was the theme for February’s American Heart Month. To support the effort, hospital staff donned heart-shaped red pins for “Wear Red Day” on Friday, February 4, collateral materials including banners and posters, tent cards and flyers with healthy tips, were distributed on tables in Spotsy Café and the lobbies.
On February 17, Dr. Martyak spoke to a community group of about 65 people in Spotsy Café, discussing early intervention and prevention and on January 25, Dr. Dhaliwal spoke about Your Thyroid and You: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Dr. Trible is scheduled to speak on March 15 about Colon Cancer.
