PAPER RECORDS AVAILABLE AT SPOTSYLVANIA REGIONAL

You asked and we listened. It’s our desire to earn your business, so beginning Wednesday, June 1, both paper and electronic patient records will be available at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. You will have the choice of accessing a hybrid paper/electronic record system which should improve accessibility for many physicians. Using lean principles, this methodology should create more efficient access to the information you need while serving at SRMC.

Emergency Room medical records will still be electronic, but all inpatient records will have paper as a duplicate resource in addition to Meditech data. The paper records will only have the information you want to see, not the complete details that are found electronically. You will have the option to write orders if you choose rather than submit electronically.

If you have questions, please contact Sean Thomson at 540-498-4050 or michael.thomson@hcahealthcare.com.
