Day of Caring

l to r: Monique Rivers, Tracey Polivka, Matt Radle, Debra Pouliot, and Allison Schmitt

On September 15, 2011 Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center employees participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring.  Employees from the hospital donated half their day to organizing and cleaning the medical supply storage room at the Moss Free Clinic.  Throughout the year the Moss Free Clinic receives numerous donations from the medical community.  It was Spotsylvania Regional’s job to organize the donated supplies into different categories based upon usability and need.  After the supplies were organized, they were then strategically placed in the room to increase the efficiency of those searching for items at The Moss Free Clinic.  The service project was one that added value to the Clinic as well to the employees of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.  The Moss Free Clinic was very appreciative of all the hard work that employees of Spotsylvania Regional were able to provide.
