Pink Mondays at SRMC

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is hosting Pink Mondays. The first session was held on October 3rd and featured specialists in breast radiology, genetics, and breast surgery. The second session on October 10, was a Q&A with Drs. Maurer, Vaughn, Feledy, Blanchard and Leslie Collier, SRMC’s dietitian. The last session on October 17 will focus on “Your New Normal: Survivorship and Wellness During and After Breast Cancer.” Pink Mondays are also being offered at other HCA hospitals in Richmond: Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, Johnston-Willis, and John Randolph. AnnMarie Simmons, the SRMC breast care nurse navigator, is coordinating the events.
