Marketing Update

Spotsylvania Regional has added two new signs that include LED boards: one is located at the intersection of Rt. 1 and Spotsylvania Parkway and another at Rt. 17 and Hospital Blvd. The signs display the ER wait time, event announcements, time and temperature, and service line information.

Our new print and radio campaign called “Quality Matters. Choose Wisely.” was launched with new ads and billboards on I95 south at mile marker 133, I95 north at mile marker 118, downtown on Lafayette Street, and digital boards on Rt. 1 and Rt. 17.

To showcase our service lines, the “Quality Matters. Choose Wisely.” concept of the caring hands is illustrated in print ads for OB, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, and Cardiology:

A “Tutorials” button has been added to the Meditech Desktop.  This link goes to a website where there are 1-5 minute podcasts and demos covering the areas of Clinical Review, Computerized Provider Order Entry, Provider Desktop, and Provider Documentation.  Links are displayed across the bottom of this site. The same link has also been placed on Spotsylvania’s Intranet site under the Resources column.

Physician Advisory Group Update

VERICIS Auto-Fax Functionality:  A recent capability was added to our diagnostic cardiology software. Cardiac Catheterization reports and other information can now be auto-faxed directly after the procedure instead of waiting for the report to transfer into Meditech. This addition has improved the readability as well as availability of post-procedure information to primary care and referring physicians. Continue reading ‘Physician Advisory Group Update’
