Cancer Center Update

spotsy-cancer7-11-12-smaller_We have made tremendous progress on our cancer center since the last physician newsletter. The linear accelerator vault has been built, the canopy entrance facing I-95 has gone up, and the interior is being completed. In addition to the construction, we have begun on-boarding staff and clinicians, as well as developing our clinical protocols, policies, and care pathways. Linear accelerator and CT/HDR installation are both scheduled to begin in early May, with the Radiation Oncology portion of our Cancer Center opening in mid to late July. Please look for more updates and as well as staff bios as we announce our team that will be providing excellent care to your patients. If you would like a pre-opening tour, please contact Sebastian Haines at Sebastian.haines@hcahealthcare.com.
