CPOE Go-Live – August 25th

The Advanced Clinicals team has successfully relaunched CPOE at SRMC. In preparation for the go-live, which occurred on August 25th, the team developed evidenced-based order sets and completed many individualized training sessions. The launch includes:

  • Development of evidence-based order sets that will improve patient safety and reduce ordering time
  • Standardized templates that allow providers to enter and edit documentation while ensuring compliance with ICD-10, and
  • A new, stream-lined discharge process that allows all discharge processes to occur in one place

For your convenience a HOTLINE has been established that will allow you to set up a time for training or to receive assistance with order entry or physician documentation. Call the HOTLINE at x 4500 (inside the facility) or 540-498-4500 (outside the facility).

Thank you for your cooperation in making this a success!
