Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic Seeks Volunteer Medical Professionals

Volunteers have been helping the Moss Free Clinic to build a healthier community since 1993.  Our volunteers include physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, mental health and social service professionals – as well as students, retirees and other community members.  By generously giving of their time, volunteers are able to help us to improve the quality of life for thousands of people throughout the Fredericksburg area.

The support we receive from volunteers enables us to accomplish our mission of improving the health and wellness of uninsured people through quality healthcare delivered in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

Volunteering at the Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic can earn you tax credits! The Clinic participates in the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), which allows businesses and professional health care providers to receive tax credits for the goods and services they donate.

We provide medical malpractice coverage for all volunteer medical professionals.  The time commitment is flexible. Volunteers can work as little as once each quarter or once a week.

It’s an opportunity for you to provide needed medical expertise to your community and make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.  By joining over 150 of your peers who currently volunteer, you can help the Free Clinic operate and contribute to this worthwhile effort.

Volunteer — You’ll remember why you went to medical school.
