Meet Dr. Aiken – Hospitalist

Dr. Matthew Aiken is an Adult Hospitalist at SRMC who graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  He earned his degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Aiken serves on the Medical Executive Committee, MEC, as a hospital representative.  In this role Dr. Aiken hopes to help foster an open relationship between SRMC administration and its medical staff, while developing policies and procedures to maintain and improve the quality of our patient care.  In addition, he hopes to help communicate the availability of the wonderful services we have at SRMC to the community physicians.
